Terms & Conditions of Vehicle Rental with Gonarug S.L.
1- The duration of vehicle rental covers the dates agreed and indicated in the contract and will be charged on the basic of 24 hour periods. Delays in returning the vehicle will entail a 3 € charge per hour. The vehicle shall be returned at the venue and on the date indicated on the front page of the contract.
2- The cost of car hire is indicated in the vehicle rental contract and is calculated on the basis of the general rates currently in place.
3- The only person(s) authorised to drive the vehicle are those indicated in the vehicle rental contract and which have been acepted by the car hire company. Drivers must be over 23 years of age and must hold a valid driving license, issued at least 2 years prior to vehicle rental.
4- In additionto the costs of vehicle rental and taxes, the client accepts to pay any expenditure incurred as a result of loss of documents, vehicle tools and accessories -valued at 30 €- as well as any fines and/or legal costs related to violation or infringement of road traffic rules, legislation, regulations or bylaws.
5- In the event of accident, theft or fire the client is obliged to report to the Company and to the police, as early as possible following the incident.
6- The vehicle has full car insurance, with coverage for any incidents, damage to third parties and damage to the vehicle itself. However, the insurancecompany will not cover damages that arise as result of dangerous driving.
7- Transportation of the vehicle to other Islands is totally forbidden.
8- The Company -Gonarug S.L.- reserves the right to decide to hire or not hire its vehicles on the grounds that are deemed appropiate by the Company. The Company may also request the client to leave a deposit in cash, in wich case the amount will be indicated in the contract.
9- Should the client drive the vehicle with a flat tyre(s), he will do so under his/her own responsability in the knowledge that it may be damaged beyond repair.
10- Any disputes that may arise between the Company -Gonarug S.L. and the client shall be settled in the courts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Spanish legislation shall be applicable.
